As part of the Singapore Night Festival, the bright blue house on Waterloo Street is opening its doors for an evening of theatrical experiences. Free for the public, the series features more than 15 text-based performances by four local groups. Highlights include Eat My Shorts a collection of nine 10-minute-long plays by Dark Matter Theatrics; Seedy Stories of crimes and conspiracies by Saga Seed Theatre; A Little Night Music by Les Musicables, which will see two improv musicals staged based on suggestions from the audience; and One Mic Stand by destination: INK, where eight poets present spoken word performances.
Also look out for a pop-up store of local titles by BooksActually and a food truck by the Coffee Bandits to keep those hunger pangs at bay.
