The trending #raindropcake has been buzzing on social media for a while now, causing food lovers all over the globe to scramble for a piece of the Japanese dessert. Here in Singapore, you can supposedly find it at Japanese restaurants like Sushi Murasaki in Millenia Walk and Mikuni at Fairmont Singapore — the jiggly blobs even popped up at The Local People's latest art market last weekend.

Now there's another eatery attempting to stake its claim as the first to serve the famous raindrop cake. But really, who cares who came first? All we know is that new dessert cafe Soobingbing, which specialises in Korean bingsu bowls, is now on board.
