The 65-year-old driver of the gold Mercedes-Benz which breached security at the Woodlands Checkpoint has been charged with commiting a rash act and vandalism.
If found guilty, Malaysian Tan Chu Seng faces a fine of up to $5,000 or a year in jail, or both, for rashly causing hurt and injury to an auxillary police officer when he drove his car through the barrier of Arrival Car Green Channel at Woodlands Checkpoint on March 8.
