Unbeknownst to many, a pigeon holocaust apparently swept across Woodlands Avenue 1 recently — but thanks to Calvin Teo and his satirical hyperbole, the issue of mass pigeon culling in the neighbourhood was made aware.
According to an emotional Facebook post, Teo rants against the authorities' recent exercise in pigeon extermination, arguing against such coldly calculated moves as "all creatures created are sacred".
"Do these authorities only have superficial intelligence and are unable to find more constructive or harmonious solutions? Are their hearts so challenged that they realize not the special place in hell they have created for themselves? Is such mediocrity an acceptable standard we want for our public service?"
