Singapore has expanded its smoking ban once again, treating its smoking citizens like outcasts and pushing them further away from the non-smoking society.
Starting June 1, smoking will be banned at reservoirs and over 400 parks islandwide, as well as all Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) camps and all Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) premises.
Senior Minister of State for the Environment and Water Resources Amy Khor delivered the hardline stance against smoking in Parliament yesterday in yet another step towards prohibiting it in all public areas.
