As if riding a rollercoaster wasn't scary enough, the fright levels got amped up to another level at Universal Studios Singapore (USS) yesterday when the ride stopped moving, leaving folks strapped and no where to go in mid-air.
The troubled Battlestar Galactica: Human vs Cylon rollercoaster acted up once again when a technical error struck at about 4pm. A witness who spoke to The Straits Times mentioned that the riders were left dangling for about 20 minutes before everyone was rescued.
"Standard operating procedures were followed to evacuate riders safely from the lower section of the ride," said a Resorts World Sentosa spokesperson. The ride was resumed at 5.08pm after routine safety checks.
