The folks behind Timbre Group have always offered us cool hangouts, complete with good food and great music. Now, they've got something new up their sleeve, and it's set to debut on Apr 1. The mammoth undertaking is a 24,000 sq ft gastropark featuring 35 restaurants and new-gen hawker stalls. Formerly an old food centre, the space has been rebuilt (by JTC) to fit 700 people for lunch, dinner and after-hours drinks.
As for the decor of the place, think high ceilings, shipping containers splashed with graffiti art, and vintage Airstream travel trailers transformed into food trucks. Timbre residents will also be making appearances here — expect familiar names like The Common People, Sweatshop Jam, Supersonic and OK Ready! to take the stage with funky tunes. Plus, look out for upcoming events like pop-up markets, chef collabs, BBQ cook-offs and festivals.
