The Monday blues got even bluer for two people this morning when a large tree collapsed onto a taxi and a van at the junction of Corporation Road and Boon Lay Drive.
Channel NewsAsia reports that two people sustained minor injuries from the freak accident, but refused to be conveyed to the hospital for medical treatment. A fire engine, a Red Rhino, two fire bikes, an ambulance and a support vehicle were dispatched to the scene after they were alerted after 10am this morning.
