
What does Singapore's founding prime minister Lee Kuan Yew and American presidential candidate Donald Trump have in common?
Not a lot, we assure you — Trump is regarded as a vulgar figure, amplifying angry voices and jingoistic sentiments that put him in reckless abandon into the front end of the Republican nomination for president. Lee on the other hand can be regarded as a controversial figure, but at least one who successfully authored a small Southeast Asian country into an economic success story.
Both figures however have been known to make some pretty rabble-rousing statements in their careers — but of course Donald trumps that arena.
