By the time June arrives, anyone who uses ATMs by DBS and POSB will get the new option of selecting Tamil as their language of choice. This makes the bank the first in Singapore to provide all four languages — English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil — reports Channel NewsAsia.
As part of a large-scale ATM user interface revamp by the bank — its first major one in a decade — the change will affect more than 1,000 machines across the country. Other improved features include larger fonts for the elderly, more preset amounts for cash withdrawals and an expansion of the main menu to offer options for popular transactions.
