It's been a pretty tough week for the folks running sociopolitical site The Online Citizen.
First, Home Affairs and Law Minister K Shanmugam accused its editors of running an "orchestrated campaign, using falsehoods" regarding the Benjamin Lim case in Parliament. "It is sad to see this level of dishonesty and politicisation of this matter," the Minister said about the site's series of reports on the controversial episode.
Now, the Media Development Authority (MDA) has ordered The Opinion Collaborative (TOC) Ltd to return advertising revenue received from a foreign company.
