It's an all-too-familiar plight that professional photographers sadly have to face throughout their career — companies who want to use their services and images in exchange for *drum roll* exposure.
For freelance photographer Tan Zexun — who runs his own photography company Pandawithacamera — the request is all too familiar. Yet another multi-million dollar company recently asked to use his images for free, but he wasn't having any of it. In fact, he had some pretty strong words for insurance firm AIA Singapore, who wanted to feature his pictures on their Instagram page as part of a social media campaign, with mere crediting as remittance.
