A traffic cop was unfortunately involved in an accident outside the State Courts yesterday in a collision between his motorbike and a Mercedes sedan driven by a district judge. The two upholders of the law collided along Upper Cross Street towards Havelock Road yesterday morning at about 8.35am, The Straits Times reports. The Singapore Civil Defence Force dispatched an ambulance to the location, which in turn conveyed the injured officer to Singapore General Hospital.
Reportedly, he sustained minor injuries but was stable and conscious when he was sent to the hospital for treatment.
Investigations are currently ongoing.
