Some people somewhere are creating fake duplicates of the Ministry of Manpower (MOM)'s corporate websites for some reason, and the government is working hard to take down the imposters. "Fake websites surface from time to time, and we would like to take this opportunity to remind members of the public to remain vigilant and exercise caution when using the Internet, especially for transactional purposes," MOM wrote in an announcement. "Doing so will ensure that one does not unwittingly fall prey to such websites."
Members of the public are advised to only use the official MOM website at www.mom.gov.sg for all matters concerning employment in Singapore.
They've assured that no data has been compromised so far, and the bona fide online portal remains unaffected.
