NSP makes U-turn, announces decision to contest in Macpherson against WP and PAP

NSPOpposition parties here really need to get their little tiffs sorted out if they even want to stand a chance in making a dent in the ruling People's Action Party (PAP) very thick, very seasoned hide.  Old wounds have been torn apart between The National Solidarity Party (NSP) and the Workers' Party (WP) after the former chose to retract their decision to stay out of the Macpherson Single Member Constituency (SMC), thereby ensuring that it will be a three-cornered fight in the district. "In recent weeks, NSP leaders have been receiving feedback and pledges of support from many residents in Marine Parade and Macpherson, where it had garnered 43% of the votes from the constituency's electorate," they wrote in a press release.
