Like this 59-year-old Caucasian man who visited Energia Fitness Club along Merchant Road on Aug 9 pretending to be interested in picking up a membership.
His real goal was to go on a stealing spree inside the gym's locker room. And it took him all of just 10 minutes to swipe cash, credit cards and mobile devices. One of the stolen bank cards was also used in a transaction, reports The Sunday Times.
Thanks to the Find My iPhone app, the alleged thief was located, within three hours of the incident, at a shop in Little India trying to sell his harvest.
"Police searched the suspect's bag and, besides finding various gadgets, also discovered various tools like a crowbar and cutters," according to the report.
Investigations are ongoing.
