Mount KinabaluIt's been more than a month since the deadly earthquake that struck Mount Kinabalu took the lives of 10 Singaporean, mostly students from Tanjong Katong Primary School who were only 12 years of age.  Gone, but not forgotten. So far, $560,000 has been raised for fund set up by the Ministry of Education (MOE) that will go towards the families of the deceased, The Straits Times reports. The "Sabah Earthquake Fund" was set up in June, that should help the next of kin of the late Tanjong Katong Primary School teachers Mohammad Ghazi Mohamed and Terrence Loo, as well as Camp Challenge instructor Muhammad Daanish Amran. The three of them died during an expedition up the mountain in Sabah together with students.  The deadline has since been extended to Aug 31 to allow more donations to be collected, which can now be made through DBS self-service channels, internet banking, mobile banking, DBS/POSB ATM and the DBS Paylah! mobile app.  Those interested in donating can head on to the fund's website to learn more.  Photo: shankar s. via Flickr
