This guy must have been really drunk to do something so stupid.
Police went to check on a 31-year-old man on early Friday morning (4:30am) who refused to leave a taxi at Ang Mo Ko Avenue 1.
According to the police statement, the man had way too much to drink.
"Upon arrival, the officers found the man, who seemed to be intoxicated, sleeping inside the taxi. When the officers engaged the passenger, he suddenly turned rowdy and insulted the officers with indecent hand gestures," according to a news release."The man refused to heed officers' advice despite repeated warnings and was eventually placed under arrest for disorderly behaviour and for insulting public servants," reports The Straits Times.
It didn't stop there.
On the way to the police station, the man bribed the officers with $50 and an offer to introduce them to paid sexual services.
"The officers rejected the bribes immediately and the man was subsequently arrested for attempting to bribe police officers," the news release from the Singapore Police Force said.
The man will be charged in court today and may be fined up to $5,000 or jailed up to one year upon conviction.
