An elderly former relief teacher currently faces up to five years in jail over some serious charges of molesting a young pupil at a school in Hougang.
Old enough to be her grandfather, 76-year-old Bok Tin Fok allegedly kissed the then eight-year-old girl outside the school hall near the staff room in 2013.
The Straits Times also reports that he is also accused of kissing the girl outside the school library at one time last year, when she was nine.
In court, Bok's lawyer mentioned that he will be applying for a medical report, and that it's most likely that Bok will plead guilty.
He is currently out on a $10,000 bail. We hope the girl is alright.
