Singapore Airlines recently planned a special A380 Charity Flight, of which around 300 beneficiaries — including children with special needs, disabled adults and disadvantaged families — of the Community Chest and other organisations experienced a three-and-a-half-hour flight on board the world's largest passenger airliner.
The end result was nothing less than heartwarming — the faces of these folks who might never experience flying in their lives light up in extreme joy in the air, while enjoying first class service by the stewards and stewardesses of SIA. Of all the SG50 bells and whistles being practiced these year, the Charity Flight certainly counts among one of the most meaningful ones.
