A Malaysian interior designer will only be drafting the decor of his prison cell for the next 18 months after being convicted of molesting three women during the wee hours.
39-year-old Lee Yok Kok carried out his dastardly deeds around Serangoon Central, molesting women in HDB lifts and a void deck, according to The Straits Times.
In May 2011, a 23-year-old Malaysian woman alighted from her company transport around 3.50am at Serangoon Central. She passed Lee at a void deck, who was walking in the opposite direction, when the man suddenly turned and molested her. She shouted and pushed his hands away, and Lee scurried off.
In September that year, Lee followed a 22-year-old woman into a lift after she came home from clubbing. She screamed for help when he groped her when the lift doors reached the ninth floor and managed to escape.
In November 2013, Lee followed a 24-year-old woman who had returned from a drinking session around 3.25am into the lift of a block along Serangoon Central Drive. Lee grabbed her butt cheek from behind as she was exiting the lift on the fifth floor. He then touched her chest before running away.
In court, Lee pleaded guilty to four charges and was spared caning due to psychiatric report that showed that he was suffering from major depression.
