Yesterday, we reported about Pang Chon Seng, the motorist who was jailed after his attempt to point two middle fingers at another motorist along the Pan-Island Expressway caused a nine-vehicle accident that led to a motorcyclist's death.
Traffic watchdog community Singapore Reckless Drivers have generously produced a compilation video of the times Singaporean drivers have been caught on tape resorting to the one-fingered salute to express their utmost joy and happiness while getting into altercations with other motorists. "The common causes of motorists using such rude gestures on the road are usually honking or high beaming", they wrote on Facebook. "All these actions can lead to road rage and aggressive driving."
Mr. Bean was such a bad influence. Next time you feel like flipping the bird, just remember that you too could kill someone on the road.
