Singaporean travellers second most likely in the world to nick hotel room items In a revelation that surprised no one, we cheapskate Singaporeans are second in the world for nicking items from hotel rooms.  Don't deny it, we've all been guilty of taking stuff like toiletries, magazines, slippers and anything not nailed down from hotel rooms. The only people who beat Singaporeans in having the stickiest of fingers are Argentinians, according to a recent survey done by travel booking website Hotels.com.  The survey posed questions to 4,700 participants from 28 countries on the things they taken from hotel rooms and never returned. They didn't even bother asking if they took toiletries, because absolutely everyone does it.  71 percent of Singaporean respondents admitted to looting items from their rooms, while Argentinians top the list at 73 percent, TODAY reports The most popular items taken from hotels seem to be bedroom slippers and stationery.  Colombians on the other hand were found to be the least likely to nick stuff from their rooms, with 69 percent of the respondents claiming to have taken nothing from hotels. Colombians are either the most good-hearted people on Earth or damn dirty liars.  Photo: einalem via Flickr
