More than half of Singaporean workforce found to be highly skilled: ReportOur little red dot has been found to contain the highest concentration of high-skilled workers across Asia Pacific, with more than half of the country's workforce determined to be highly skilled.  According to the Human Capital Report 2015 conducted by Mercer and the World Economic Forum, 54 percent of Singapore's workforce are highly-skilled, which puts the city-state at a higher percentage than New Zealand and Australia.  Human Resources Online also reported that Singapore ranks highly in the region for leveraging on its human capital, garnering a score of 78.15. This puts Singapore in fourth place in Asia Pacific in the area — Japan leads the list with a score of 82.74, followed closely behind by New Zealand (81.84) and Australia (80.22).  On a global scale however, Singapore comes in only at 24th place, while Japan was the only Asian country to secure a position in the top 10.  Photo: HaIogen via Flickr
