Yeap, that escalated quickly.
Turns out, the argument-turned-brouhaha started when the two women demanded extra access cards from the manager of the Simei Green condominium, which of course he did not allow without the presence of the original unit owner.
Following police investigations, the woman who was doing the main pummelling has been revealed to be 47-year-old Tang Lei, who has since been charged in court today with assaulting 67-year-old condo manager, leaving him with bruises and abrasions over his forehead. Aside from the physical assault, she also spat and splashed liquid from a drink can at him in the morning of Apr 28.
The Straits Times reports that Tang has since been let out on $10,000 bail and her passport has been impounded, while a pre-trial conference has been scheduled for June 10.
