Heads will fucking roll for this one. Someone uploaded a clip to Facebook showing a group of newly promoted Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers trashing their dormitory located in their training academy along Jalan Bahar.
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
Is this the way Singapore Civil Defence Force personnel should act?<Video credit: Han Din>Read more: http://goo.gl/YDJ0ae
Posted by The Real Singapore on Monday, 27 April 2015"It's the last day man! Look at dorm, it's a ruckus! The dorm is in a ruckus man!" exclaims the person behind the lens, as the camera sweeps through their dormitory which is in a complete rockstar-level of disarray with numerous bunk beds overturned, mattresses thrown all over the floor and toppled lockers, as well as personnel acting unruly, openly smoking and throwing stuff around.
It also seems that the personnel in the video are newly promoted sergeants, judging from their rowdy joyfulness and yelling out "POP oh"— the exclamation made after graduating from a training course in a passing out parade.
The fact that these people are actually expected to lead other rescuers in the various fire stations across Singapore is disappointing to many. Though it's not uncommon for all national servicemen across all vocations — SCDF, Singapore Police Force and the Singapore Armed Forces — to behave a little rowdily post-graduation, this vulgar display of immaturity is just a little too much.
SCDF has undoubtedly taken notice of the video clip which has gone viral on social media, and are already conducting investigations, with assurance that disciplinary action will be taken.
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
There is a short video clip being circulated online this evening which depicted unruly behaviour by a few SCDF personnel...

The video also looks to be undoing all the efforts the SCDF have put in over the past few years in improving their image as a respected, dedicated agency towards saving lives. The trust that has been slowly been built regarding the professional standards of the SCDF has surely been shaken, and it'll be yet another long road to regaining public confidence again.
UPDATE: New footage of the SCDF recruits acting like total asses has surfaced.
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
Ooooppsss ada lagi video rupanya...Just a nasihat - kalau nak buat chinese calligraphy, pakai brush, ink and paper. Jangan pakai kiwi, boots, and lantai bunk, macam ni hantu.
