A 24-year-old female motorist has been arrested for causing a fatal accident yesterday afternoon near the Bukit Batok Swimming Complex.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force and the police were alerted to the accident along Bukit Batok Street 22, where an 83-year-old woman was hit and pronounced dead at the scene, The New Paper reports.
The driver was later arrested for causing death by a negligent act. Investigations are ongoing.
