In a (pleasantly) surprising declaration made by Live! Empire in March, the tattooed pin-up girls of SuicideGirls were set to bring their acclaimed Blackheart Burlesque show, offering striptease performances in homage to geek culture, including Star Wars, Clockwork Orange, Doctor who and more — and with a rating of R18 of course. FHM Singapore even did a special with the girls for their April issue.
Without explaining why, the show has since been cancelled, with refunds to be made through ticketing platforms Sistic and Peatix. Money issues? Too risqué? Security complications? Details are unclear, and Live! Empire are keeping mum for now.
