With a number of live shows overseas under their belt, opening for Brit rock icons Travis last year and an upcoming stint in Beijing to represent Singapore in an SG50 initiative, indie rock outfit Take Two are set to take the next big step when they launch their debut EP Pairs this April.
Building upon that indie rock sound, the lads wear their post-punk influences proudly with bright guitar hooks, polished vocal interplay, and sounding like they'd fit perfectly beside the likes of Two Door Cinema Club and The Maccabees.
The quintet have been busy over the last couple of months releasing a couple of singles from their EP accompanied by some pretty slick music videos. Their upcoming show promises a full on audio-visual spectacle with a full light-show, with fellow indie-rock outfit Stopgap as special guests.
Take Two are launching Pairs on Apr 18 at the Aliwal Arts Centre; tickets are available on Peatix at $25, $35 and $45. Stay updated on the Facebook event page.
