Avoid the tourist traps and come immerse yourself in the lesser known trails and cultural sights and sounds in Singapore HeritageFest 2015, spanning five weekends from Apr 17 onwards.
Already into its twelfth year, the National Heritage Board initiative promises its largest edition yet and even more locations both familiar and offbeat across Singapore.
A huge variety of programmes have been lined up, including an outdoor concert on the rooftop of Chinatown's People's Park Complex, light up at Telok Ayer Street and various food and heritage trails in the neighbourhoods of Geylang Serai, Tiong Bahru and Balestier.
Tourists can also learn more about Singapore's many communities including the German, French, Japenese, Eurasian, Arab and Armenian people of Singapore in exhibitions and performances.
Online registrations for the Singapore HeritageFest programmes will commence on Apr 13 — more details available on the official website.
