The biggest National Day Parade yet arrives this August for Singapore's 50th birthday, and of course, there will be a significant portion of it spent on remembering the nation's founding prime minister and visionary Lee Kuan Yew.
Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen confirmed that the organising committee behind the National Day celebrations will add a tribute segment dedicated to the life and accomplishments of the late Lee Kuan Yew. Also, his usual seat will be left empty during the celebrations at the Padang.
