Taking place on May 6 & 7 at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre, the 9th Tech in Asia Conference promises to be "bigger, better and crazier", the organizers swear in a press release.
So what happens at this conference? Startups battle it out for a cash prize of US$15,000, while attendees network with their fellow hardworkers at Boostrap Alley (over 250 startups are given free booth spaces for a day) or Night Crawl (a mix of open- and closed-door parties from 6pm till midnight).
Need help getting matched? Private networking app Jublia will be brought in to help attendees maximize their time and connect with the right people at the conference.
If you're socially awkward and schmoozing isn't your thing, you can always sit back and take notes as speakers take to the Main Stage and Kickstart Stage to give inspiring speeches.
You may want to start cyberstalking names like Kevin Hale (Y Combinator), Ray Chan (9GAG), Anthony Tan (GrabTaxi), Khailee Ng (500 Startups) and Steven Leonard (IDA, Singapore).
Those looking for angel investors can sign up for the Startup Investor Speed Dating or step inside the Investor Lounge, a space set aside for investors to conduct private conversations with the next Alibaba or Tokopedia.
