Aside from queueing up for to eight hours to enter Parliament House and leaving flowers or messages at condolence boards, there are other ways to pay homage to the late Lee Kuan Yew.
Like building a sand sculpture at a beach, for example.
This sculpture was constructed over eight hours by a team of 10 people led by Alvin Lee, professional sand sculptor and founder of the Castles Can Fly program, a corporate team-building event using beach tools.
The impressive sand sculpture itself stands at 3 metres tall and 5 metres wide, depicting the Singapore skyline, a portrait of Lee Kuan Yew and even a flag at half-mast, The Straits Times reports.
The durable sculpture is located at East Coast Park near Carpark E2, and should last for two to three weeks, rain or shine.
