Around 2,000 people paid their respects to Lee Kuan Yew in a memorial organized by Nanyang Technological University yesterday. Hundreds more followed the proceedings through live streams across the campus.
It featured a tribute video, as well as another video of Lee speaking during the five ministerial forums held at NTU. The audience observed a minute of silence as a mark of respect, reports TODAY.

In his address, NTU president Professor Bertil Andersson noted the Lee's impact on Singapore's education system. Other academic heads thanked him for his numerous contributions to the country.
