Expat fined $3k for punching local jazz singer who stood up for cabbie

Australian expat Aaron Peter Jeremicjczyk has been fined yesterday for punching renowned local jazz singer Dawn Ho last year, leaving her with a bloody nose. The two had a heated exchange at Sentosa last March, initiated when Jeremicjczyk was spotted verbally abusing a cab driver and limo service personnel about their fixed fare of $43. Ho came to the cab driver's defence and and told Jeremicjczyk off, asserting that he did not have to right to talk down to people.  Jeremicjczyk and his group of friends then lashed out at Ho and her friends and started harassing them.
