This afternoon, a special Parliament sitting will take place where various leaders are to pay tribute to the late Lee Kuan Yew, with all Members of Parliament (MPs) set to speak during the session.
Figures such as Opposition leader Low Thia Khiang, Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng, Senior Minister of State (Home Affairs and Foreign Affars) Masagos Zulkifli will also be among those who will pay homage to the nation's first Prime Minister, TODAY reports.
The House will then observe a minute of silence before all MPs — including Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong — will pay homage.
The session will be attended by a group of invited guests including grassroots leaders and students.
