A Singapore guide to mourning Lee Kuan Yew It's already day two into the National Mourning period for the late Lee Kuan Yew, and if you're wondering how to go about paying your respects to the architect of modern Singapore, here's a guide.   How — The Ministry of Communications and Information have already set up an official tribute site to Lee Kuan Yew where you can submit your thoughts and messages, which are posted for the public to read. Already, there are poems, anecdotes and touching remarks on the legacy left by the late leader. There's also a nifty section chronicling Lee's life and career in the government.  — Leave your tributes at various other websites, including the Singapore Memory Project, the irememberSG Facebook page and the Tribute to Lee Kuan Yew site. — If you're working in a Government building,  ensure that the flag is flown at half-mast till Sunday. DON'T FORGET.  — The Lee family has politely requested no wreaths, flowers or condolence advertisement. All donations received will go to the Education Fund, NTUC-U Care Fund, Garden City Fund and the various community self-help groups. Or if you'd like to directly donate to the above-mentioned organisations, here's a list of mailing addresses.  — Write messages, leave gifts, signs, flowers and anything you'd like at the various condolence sites that have already been set up around Singapore. Books, cards and pens will be available.  — Don't be a dick; leave the trolling and bashing till later on. Too soon guys.  Where  Parliament House: Pay your last respects when Lee's body lies in state from Mar 25 to Mar 28, from 10am to 8pm daily. Condolence boards have also been set up in front of the House for folks to leave messages, flowers and gifts. The Istana: Condolence boards have been set up by the Main Gate, right next to Plaza Singapura at Dhoby Ghaut.  Public libraries: The 25 public libraries across Singapore will have tribute booths set up, while a special exhibition on the achievements of Lee Kuan Yew will be held at the lobby of the National Library Building from tomorrow onwards. Town Centres: A total of 18 community sites will be ready for the public to share their tributes by tomorrow. Currently, residents of Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Choa Chu Kang, Jurong East, Tanjong Pagar and Tampines can pay tribute in the various locations. The Service will be attended by the Lee family, friends and staff, the Presidents, Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament, Old Guards, senior civil servants, grassroots leaders and other Singaporean guests.  Not invited?
