The first family in line yesterday morning at Universal Studios Singapore (USS) received a grand welcome and got a ride into the park flanked by the likes of Elmo, Cookie Monster and the Minions as part of the theme park's fifth anniversary celebrations.

USS has also announced new upcoming attractions in the park, including an exhibition featuring the sleek cars from the Fast & Furious movie franchise next week.
Reportedly, roller coaster ride Battlestar Galactica: Human vs Cylon will also be reopened after a two-year hiatus, while two more rides will be up and running later this year.
Their trademark Halloween Horror Nights are also set to be even bigger this year with more nights and programs to be added to their calendar.
