A 16-hour joint enforcement operation conducted on Tuesday nabbed 17 people, all of whom were arrested over suspected drug-related offences.
Led by Ang Mo Kio Police Division and Central Narcotics Bureau, the operation was supported by Singapore Civil Defence Force officers as the team made inspections at public entertainment outlets and public housing estates in Hougang, Ang Mo Kio, Yishun and Sembawang.
They seized a straw of heroin, two packets of meth and two tablets of Erimin-5. Investigations on the suspects are ongoing.
