Hot damn. Amidst the dry season Singapore is facing right now, the weather geeks at National Environment Agency (NEA) have foretold scorching days ahead in the next two weeks.
The agency's latest weather forecast has predicted a maximum daily temperature of up to 35 degrees Celsius, The Straits Times reports. That's a much higher temperature than the long-term average of 31.6 degrees Celsius.
Though maximum daily temperatures could range between 33 to 35 degrees Celsius, short thundery showers can still be expected in the afternoon, though the month's rainfall is expected to be below average. Already, parts of Singapore are reporting rainfall levels which are 65 to 90 percent below average.
