Earlier this year, we announced that Singapore's hottest gourmet fest is coming back to the F1 Pit Building from March 26 — 29.
Here's a breakdown of what's happening that yummy long weekend so you can plan your moves.
As of today 34 great chefs and drinking experts have pledged their presence, including Alvin Leung, the man who runs two of Singapore's best restaurants Andre Chiang, Beppe de Vito, the UK's Daniel Clifford, sake connoisseur Hayato Hishinuma and Ryan Clift.
If you recognise restaurant names better, there are 19 presenters altogether, including &Sons, Artichoke, Bo Innovation, Forlino, Denmark's Kiin Kiin and Una @ Rochester. You can check out their menus on the Savour website.
Other than the opportunity to taste award-winning cooking you'd otherwise find rather inaccessible, Savour also showcases some hard-to-find products and produce for you to stock up on.
This year's event will for the first time, feature a cheese room, but that's not all — 20 different kinds of oysters, Japanese white strawberries, grilled-on-the-spot meats, organic Croatian stonebass, 100 different wine labels and 50 different sake labels, as well as gourmet sausages, will go on sale.
And what's Savour without the intimate masterclasses with some of the region's biggest dining superstars, right?
On this page you'll find the schedule for these complimentary sessions with some of the presenting chefs, throughout the event period.
But what we're really excited about are the activities in the Cooking Studio. Chef Han Liguang of newly opened experimental kitchen Labyrinth will be holding a mod Sin demo and so will Momolato, who're selling their liquid nitrogen ice-cream at the event. Special for all you health nuts is Chef Michael Lewis' quinoa class on Saturday, while Peranakan food lovers will do well to attend the home cooking demo by one of Singapore's best restaurants for the cuisine, Candlenut.
If your passion's more for liquids, Savour's also hosting an incredible variety of beer, sake and wine master classes, and yup, they're also all free.
Entry tickets are $60 — 65 from now till March 29 and $70 — 75 at the door.
