$1k reward for leads behind culprit who shoved object into cat's rectum and stomach in Ang Mo KioThere is no end to human cruelty. A stray cat was found with a gaping hole in its torso in Ang Mo Kio — someone shoved a unknown hard object into the cat's rectum and through its stomach.  Speaking to Shin Min Daily, neighbourhood cat caretaker Crystal Tan recalled that the ginger cat named Boyboy was not found at its usual spot at Block 220, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 last Thursday. She found the bloodied up Boyboy lying on a patch of grass with a hole in its stomach and within inches of death. The cat died from its wounds the next day.    (function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk')); Post by Cat Welfare Society. Outraged by the ruthless act of animal abuse, Tan is offering $1,000 to anyone who has leads to find the callous culprit.  It could be the work of a serial cat killer in Ang Mo Kio — the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore appealed to the public for assistance last December regarding two suspected cat abuse cases in the same area.  Photo: Joe Hunt via Flickr
