It's been awhile since we heard from Singapore's instrumental rock superband In Each Hand A Cutlass, but come Apr 24, the quintet will rise again from the depths with their highly anticipated sophomore album, The Kraken.
In keeping with their cinematic overtones, The Kraken is set to be a crushing return to form; an hour-long homage to the underwater behemoth with an epic 20-minute, three-part suite which forms the focal point of the title track.
Experience waves of neural rapture when they perform the album live in its entirety at the Esplanade recital studio next month, accompanied by the likes of violinist Josh Wei, cellist Hsiao Shan Loh and the mind-bending visuals curated by Syndicate's Brandon Tay.
