Not content with resting so soon after an amazing concert at Fort Canning, the folks behind The Gathering are bringing in the super-sultry likes of downtempo R&B outfit Rhye to the stages of The Coliseum this month.
The mysterious duo released their two brilliant singles "Open" and "The Fall" online without much fanfare back in 2012 but quickly garnered a huge following and critical acclaim over their debut album Woman.
A collaboration between vocalist and electronic musician Michael Milosh and Danish multi-instrumentalist Robin Hannibal, the music of Rhye is a complete aural treat, putting a distinctly modern twist on R&B filled with lush, sensual textures, Milosh's soft croonings and incredibly soothing tones. In other words, it's music you make sweet love to, damn it.
Rhye will be performing at The Coliseum, Resorts World Sentosa on March 25. Tickets are available through Eventclique at $68, $78 and $100 — stay updated on the Facebook event page.
