![Singaporean artist documents her travels through charming embroidery]()
Young local artist Teresa Lim must really love embroidery; so much that she has documented her travels around the world through actual embroidered landscapes in a project entitled 'Sew Wanderlust',
Graduating from Lasalle College of the Arts with a First Class Honors in Fashion Design and Textiles, the 24-year-old's absurdly charming handicrafts are chronicled on her site, depicting on-site stitched representations of the places she's visited, including Prague's Charles Bridge, Perth's Serpentine Falls, Berlin's Holocaust Memorial and more in stunning detail.
Already, her project has been picked up by various publications around the world including DesignTAXI, BBC, CNN and Daily Mail. It's a stunning display of how Lim has breathed new life and a modern aesthetic into antiquated craft techniques, and we're looking forward to see more of her handiwork.
