Fresh from the huge success of Getai Electronica, the folks of Lepark and instrumental jazz fusion outfit TAJ are back for even more series of shows on the rooftop of Chinatown's People's Park Complex in Lepark Sessions Vol.1, starting this Saturday.
Less of an expansive open air gig and more of an intimate concert session, the Lepark Sessions series will be featuring performances by a multitude of local musicians recorded in front of a live audience in a makeshift studio in Lepark's outlet space. According to the event runners, it'll be very remniscient of NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts.
Enjoy a cosy recital with Getai Electronica alumni Disco Hue, TAJ, .gif and Spacedays as well as the likes of veteran singer-songwriter Bani Hidir, and acclaimed neo-soul quintet The Steve Mcqueens in a very chill weekend far above the flurry of Chinatown.
