The residents of fairly unremarkable Yishun will finally have something exciting to look forward to when Northpoint City will be up and running following confirmation of the development starting April 15.
Channel NewsAsia reports that the integrated development is expected to be completed by 2018, and promises to change the landscape for one of Singapore's oldest estates.
Northpoint City will be located at the heart of the Yishun Town Centre, comprising of 12 blocks of 900 units and will offer a bevy of facilities for residents including a swimming pool, an indoor gym, a clubhouse and a barbecue area. Residents will also be able to find transport easily as the mixed development will be integrated with the air-conditioned bus interchange and an underpass to Yishun MRT Station.
