Valentine's Day ain't stopping these marathon runners from running. The Brooks Marina Run 2015 will be taking place tomorrow along Stadium Road in the evening, and the police have issued an advisory about the affected roads.
To facilitate the event, the extreme left lane of Stadium Road in the direction of Stadium Drive will be close to vehicular traffic from 5pm to 11pm tomorrow. Access into the lane will only be granted to police and emergency vehicles, while those found parking and causing obstruction will be towed away.
Claimed to be one of the most scenic half marathons and 10km race in Singapore, the race specifically revolves around Valentine's Day celebrations — should be a treat for those who'd rather work up a right sweat than dine in overcrowded restaurants and purchase overpriced gifts.
