A dramatic five-car collision took place at Ang Mo Kio yesterday which saw a red Toyota flipping into the air while another vehicle managed to drive fast enough under the suspended car.
Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 was a scene of Hollywood-esque chaos as five vehicles — a red Toyota, a white Hyundai, a red Kia, a grey Chevrolet and a ComfortDelGro taxi — got involved in a four-lane road accident, The New Paper reports.
The Toyota sedan had tried to overtake the taxi when it collided with the right side of the Hyundai, which propelled the red car into air, flying over the Chevrolet and landing upside down behind it.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force were alerted to the incident at 1.30pm and conveyed two men and a woman to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. The three injured were reportedly conscious with no serious injuries.
