![6 youths arrested for trespassing onto Shaw Towers rooftop]()
It's all fun and adventure until someone gets caught — six youths have been arrested for trespassing on the rooftop of Shaw Towers.
A member of the public alerted the police last Friday about some men who were found on the rooftop of the building at 100 Beach Road. Investigations revealed that the secured door leading to the roof had been tampered. All six men — aged between 17 to 21 — were arrested by officers from Central Police Division for trespassing.
If convicted for the offence of criminal trespass on property, they may face a prison sentence of up to 3 months and/or a fine of up to $1,500.
Despite the awesome view and the general thrill of urban exploration, police have advised members of the public against trespassing, as it may pose a danger to themselves and others. Oh well.
